The Entrepreneur’s Most Valuable Tool

Several times each week I interact with people who enrolled in the Break Free University because they are working to make the mental and emotional transition from being an employee to being a successfully self employed entrepreneur.

Most of them tell me they were highly successful in the corporate world and yet struggle to accomplish their own personal dreams, desires and goals.

Most of the people I encountered in my own 20+ years in the corporate environment were extremely bright and creative, so it is no surprise to me that they would have a craving to run their own business so they can do things “their own way“.

Unfortunately, the workplace is NOT a place for learning how to be the master and commander of your own life, so if you are working to transition yourself from “employee” to “entrepreneur” you must reprogram yourself with a more empowered mindset and more empowering decision-making strategies.

You Must Learn to Embrace Failure as Your Most Valuable Learning Tool.

As “employees” we are highly discouraged from making mistakes and from failing, so we didn’t learn how to process failure in a truly healthy and positive way.

As “employees” we are taught to collaborate on just about every little thing before making a decision, so as entrepreneurs decision-making without collaboration can be a large source of anxiety and self doubt, as well as a major cause for procrastination.

One of the most valuable pieces of advice given to me by my coach was to “fail as fast as possible” — and to do that — you must make and ACT on lots and lots of BAD decisions in order to more quickly figure out the GOOD decisions.

As an entrepreneur it is vital for you to reprogram yourself with internal decision-making strategies that will empower you to move forward with a decision, as opposed to waiting for more research data or collaboration opportunities.

It seems that no matter how smart, educated, experienced or prepared a person is — being a successful entrepreneur takes enormous persistence and tenacity and above all… you MUST be willing to EMBRACE FAILURE AND USE IT AS ONE OF YOUR MOST VALUABLE LEARNING TOOLS.

As always, you can get step-by-step guidance through the Break Free University curriculum.

Here’s to your great Success!

Law of Success

“The LAW of SUCCESS requires that the Law of Attraction be accompanied by the Law of Inner Alignment and the Law of Right Action!”  ~ Troyann

Are you in complete harmony with all components of the Law of Success?

Law of Attraction

There’s much more to creating success than just using the Law of Attraction.  Yes, it is true that you must be able to see and feel yourself living easily and naturally within your desired success as if you are already there, however there are two additional laws you must also master.

Law of Inner Alignment

This law is about clearing up what I refer to as “the thoughts BEHIND the thoughts” (and sometimes it’s “the thoughts BEHIND the thoughts, BEHIND the thoughts“). If you have a desire for a specific success but you harbor inner feelings of fear or unworthiness, those negative thoughts and feelings will put up a great big barrier between you and your ability to attract your success.

Law of Right Action

To create your success you must also master the Law of RIGHT Action. This means that you are doing the work that will actually create your success. So if you are in sales, cleaning off your desk, doing research and hanging out on Facebook is NEVER going to give you the same results as picking up the phone and making appointment setting phone calls.  In other words, if you want to win the lottery, you must buy a ticket.

You most likely already know which of these rules you may be breaking. When I work with a coaching client they almost always can tell me if they have competing feelings and beliefs of not deserving the very success they seek. They also know – for the most part – what tasks and behaviors are required for creating their desired success and they typically know which of those tasks and behaviors they dance around.

If you recognize that you are breaking any of these laws, you must do the work to clear away the barriers so you can easily and naturally attract your desired success.

As always, you can get step-by-step guidance through the Break Free University curriculum.

Here’s to your great Success!

The more success you create for yourself, the more good things you can do to help other people!

Hi Everyone!

On Friday I was interviewed by EJ Frank on BlogTalkRadio. We had a fun and lively conversation about my journey to break free from my self sabotage barriers and how I found the powerful formula for creating a natural source of SELF motivation.

I hope you will listen in as we discuss self sabotage, where it comes from and what to do about it.

I would LOVE to hear from you so please add your comments!

About the Host, E.J. Frank

EJ is a strong woman who realized early in life that she was drawn to jobs that were typically known as male-oriented jobs. As a direct result, she has first-hand experience in dealing with the challenges of working in a male oriented workplace and knows that sometimes it takes a whole lot of self confidence and self esteem to withstand the day-to-day pressures that come with this career choice.

EJ uses her experience and strengths to be an advocate for helping other non-traditional women break through the barriers of working in male oriented occupations and to find happiness and success in their career choices.

In her BlogTalkRadio show, “It Sure As Hell Is About You, EJ covers a variety of topics including success, motivation, empowerment, women’s issues, workplace and career challenges, communication issues, self sabotage, and more.

Thanks for listening in and we’d love to hear from you so please add your comments!
